Location and History
Situated in Great Western, just 1km from the township towards Melbourne, Grampians Estate is easily accessible via the Western Highway. The winery's roots trace back to 1989 when Sarah and Tom Guthrie planted their first vines, with their inaugural vintage released in 1995. In 2009, the estate expanded its operations by opening a cellar door in Great Western and acquiring the historic Garden Gully 'St Ethels' vineyard, which boasts some of the oldest vines in Victoria.
